The markets did a do a switch-a-roo from the previous months.  Good reaction initially then drop today.  Markets lost all of the gains from the last 2 days.  Nasdaq really got hit and lost about 3%.  Will have to be careful with my positions and limit the number of open plays I have.  I am also trying to teach myself how to average up.  Have tried averaging down and lucked out when I got small gain.  I know that is bad practice and have not done that since.  Also know that averaging up is good.  Get to add shares to your position and average lower than new buying price.  But for now just need to work on good set ups to take overnight and profitable day trades when available.  Could be tough sledding for a little or the market will continue to mess with everyone and have a good bounce tomorrow.  Kinda the later right now.

DCTH- took a day trade on this one.  Got in at a new high and it was stagnant for the next hour or so then started to move.  This came on low volume so didn't know if I should trust it.  Stalled again then finally took off for a second.  I moved my stop loss to just above my buying price.  This got hit when it did a dip-n-rip.  So got out with very small gain.  Better than a loss and if I didn't worry about PDT could have re-bought on way back up.    

HPJ-at close opened a new position long for HPJ.  This got clobbered today and is down around 10%, I think this is a bit much and too fast.  So will look for a quick bounce tomorrow.  Goal is more of a quick play than a big gainer.  But do have faith in this stock if it continues lower.  Trying not to hold for long though, could be tough decision tomorrow on if I sell or invest if continues to drop.  Will read up on company again tonight and make my decision.  Most likely stop the bleeding and sell though.

MDCN go killed today.  A different pot stock got halted and the sector sold off scared.  Wish I could average down right now, but will stick to rule of not averaging down.  Will have to hold for a couple weeks now it seems.  Thought would be a good day for them as they had a PR confirming more indor growing space and distribution for their products.  Hopefully not bag holding too long.  Everything seems to be ok with company and board seems legit.

Waiting for funds to settle in OH account and thinking I will transfer some more to IB.
