BOING! Nice bounce from the markets today. Led by none other than the russel and small caps! Good news regarding these stocks finally. Russel had a 2% or so pop and nasdaq was also up big on the day. Hope there is some follow through here. Correction may not be here after all. Not to much activity from me today because I spent a chunk of the day cleaning the house. Some things more important than the market. Also got to love the flexibility of trading.
Sold IDN. Emotion panic at starting minutes, did not sell premarket. Would have been a good choice had I put a order in over the weekend. Sold in 2 chunks because intial plan this morning was to cover half and see where it goes from there. Both sales were at about same price. Nice little gain with limited risk over weekend. No articles came out on app, which could have really spiked it and make me one happy camper.
Bought ISIS. Was on intraday breakout and hoping it would get a good spike. Did not really get that action, did not sell at close of market but have a close sell order for after market hours/premarket. I saw I got partial fill. Feel good about getting the rest of it filled. At least for now, risk is limited from that after market fill. Will be considered a day trade because of the after hours fill. That was the plan for this trade so no big deal there. Lets keep on winning.
Getting closer to opening an account with suretrader, just due to ability to get around PDT rule. Also feel a lot better about my trading, having a better mindset about my risk tolerance in each trade. I am scalping more than before, but all within my tolerance.
