Better day trading today. Didn't hurt that the markets bounced back, like I thought they prolly would. Now the updates and moves.
DANG turned out to be a day trade as my buy order to cover got executed for a very small gain. Happy with it as the reason for my short was solely a rumor that didn't get attention. Had a morning panic but finished green and I would have been upside down on it now.
BGMD got a fill premarket to close position. Decent win here, had news of patent out and spiked stock in morning. Could have sold at higher price, but it was nice to wake up to profits.
DCTH-the pick yesterday that was moving like ISR also sold today. I scaled out and like what has been typical lately for me, most expensive sell off was the original. Stock paniced most of day and was happy to be out with a profit. It definitely stopped moving like ISR which trapped shorts and continued higher today.
Covered small part of OPXA. I forgot to adjust the size of my sell order and only sold 1/3 of position. Sold at lost because this was breakout play that is not working. Thinking of holding rest another few days to see if it gets a bounce after rest period(2-3 days).
MJMD-new name in pot sector. Have only played one pot stock before and this one has been gaining volume. Closed positive for the day, above my buy so looking good. Thing could take off tomorrow we shall see. Want to see it run but will try not to get greedy with gains. Knew I would have to hold overnight due to PDT limitations.
Will have another day trade available tomorrow. I've been trying to limit myself to 1 every other day. Only had 1 for today and tomorrow available. Also if I don't have any available then I can not open positions. And therefore not trade with this account. Sounds like a direct TV add, but thats what it comes down to. In my optionhouse account I had some funds settle and took out a little more. I will be putting this into the IB account and be a little bit closer to ending PDT limitations. With the portion that was settled and not taken out I opened a position.
OH account position opened MSTX. This thing is on the verge of a breakout. Was hoping it would trigger during powerhour but no such luck. That is alright, closed around my mark and tomorrow could be the day. I need to keep an eye on this because if it is indeed a double top I will need to close it to minimize my loss fast. Lots of people hoping it takes off and will be race to cover.
Forgot I have a bid in for CREG which is in breakout mode. Sucker was shooting up and probably gaps up for opening. Last ditch shot to get in, have been chasing it and might be better off missing. Will check tonight to see if I get in. If I do great should be good little gain quickly and if not its for the better I didn't chase. Will keep my day trade available for something else.
